DEGREASER,
HYDROCARBON DEGRADER
CLEANS UP OIL SPILLS.
REMOVES OILS
STAINS FROM CONCRETE & ASPHALT DRIVEWAYS.
CLEANS UP OIL SPILLS IN SOIL, SAND & GRAVEL.
CLEANS UP OIL SPILLS ON HARD SURFACES.
REMOVES THOMPSON'S WATER SEAL
FROM MULTIPLE SURFACES
INCLUDING WOOD, BRICK, CONCRETE, MASONRY ETC.
EC-1800 degreaser is a natural,
eco friendly formulation for use in removing fresh and aged
oil stains, rust and other petroleum based products from
concrete,
asphalt, wood, metal, porcelain, plastics, gravel, soil, sand,
railroad ballast, textiles etc. EC-1800 is effective in cleaning and digesting oil spills
and stains containing gasoline, diesel, stove oil, crude oil, motor
oil, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene glycol, xylene, etc.
EC-1800
contains beneficial microbes and a blend of surfactants,
rust inhibitors, and nutrients all selected for their
synergistic qualities and effectiveness in deep cleaning
surfaces contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons etc.
EC-1800 does NOT contain acids, caustics, chemicals,
petroleum distillates or VOC’s and is D-Limonene free. In
addition, EC-1800 is environmentally friendly and leaves no
residue.
EC-1800
does not vaporize, it is not odorous and does not damage
human tissue. It is
biodegradable and is not DOT regulated. EC-1800 constituents
are not CERCLA hazardous (40 CFR 302.4), SARA toxic (40 CFR
372, subpart D) and unused EC-1800 would NOT be considered a
hazardous waste (40 CFR 261, subparts C, D, Appendix VIII).

TYPICAL APPLICATION PROTOCOL - HEAVY AGED
OIL STAINS
Step 1.
Apply concentrate to the affected area. Keep the surface wet
by applying a diluted solution of EC-1800 & water or
water alone while the product loosens deposits.
Step 2.
Allow sufficient time for the product to loosen or dissolve
deposits. For aged stains and rust, agitate using a fiber
pad or brush, to loosen deposits and speed removal.
Typically, the longer the contact time, the less agitation
will be required.
Step 3. Rinse with water. Where rinsing
is not possible, wipe the treated surface with wet cloth or
sponge.
NOTE:
Application can be carried out with the aid of a hand
sprayer, conventional sprayer, pressure washer etc.
Application rate, penetration
time and
retention time is
determined by type of surface, surface temperature and type
of contaminant. WARMER TEMPERATURES WILL REDUCE
CLEANING TIME |
TYPICAL APPLICATION PROTOCOL - GENERAL CLEANUP
EC-1800
is highly concentrated. Dilution rates are
determined by type of surface, surface temperature and type
of contaminant. EC-1800
may be used in concentrated form and at dilutions of up
to 1:100.
Application can be carried out with the aid of a hand sprayer,
conventional sprayer or pressure
washer.
Step 1. Dilute EC-1800 at the
appropriate rate and spray the affected area.
Step 2. Allow 5 to
10 minutes for the solution to penetrate the surface.
Step 3. Rinse with water.
EC-1800 can be diluted
for use in aqueous parts washers, ultrasonic cleaners and
pressure washers. Dilution rates may vary from 1:100 to
1:200 depending on application.
