EC-4000 Micronutrient / Bio-Stimulant is a a natural product for use in insitu and exsitu bioremediation, waste water treatment, manure management, sewage treatment, composting, municipal solid waste, oil spill cleanup,  soil reclamation, etc. Unlike bacterial treatments, EC-4000 is not adversely affected by low temperatures.

Typically, on site bioremediation, to convert contaminants into non-hazardous substances, is performed in the upper soil zone (insitu) or in biocells (exsitu). Generally, lechate, recovered from the process, together with microbes, micronutrients, biostimulants, etc. is incorporated into the soil surface and periodically tilled to aerate the mixture and optimize degradation in an aerobic environment. Generally, soil moisture content, oxygen and nutrient levels, pH, and soil porosity are controlled during the process. This is a proven technique that has been used successfully for years to degrade petroleum hydrocarbons and other contaminants. The equipment used in the bioremediation process is not unlike that used in agricultural operations.
