EC-PSG is a natural, water soluble, RTU soil conditioner for use on pastures. It is formulated with beneficial microbes and plant growth stimulants that promote nutrient uptake and aid in improving drainage, aeration, moisture retention, and soil structure, assist in balancing soil pH and increase organic matter. When used as directed, EC-PSG can enable producers to reduce fertilizer inputs while maintaining or improving yield. The materials used in the production process are derived from naturally occurring and sustainable sources and are consistent with organic principals and the National List of Allowed Substances. EC-PSG does not require a withholding period and offers significant benefits for producers who practice sustainable agriculture. In addition, it does NOT contain synthetic chemicals, animal components, animal by-products, manure or manure by-products. EC-PSG is environmentally safe and is not harmful to animals, plants and humans.

METHODS OF APPLICATION
EC-PSG organic pasture fertilizer can be applied using standard application techniques. i.e. conventional ground sprayer, direct injection into irrigation water, fertigation, etc.

For less dense foliage, apply in 5 gallons water/ acre
For more dense foliage, apply in 10 gallons water/ acre
Application rates may vary with environmental conditions, soil fertility, grazing history, management practices and additional inputs  applied. EC-PSG organic pasture fertilizer is chemical free and does not require a withholding period.

Do not apply immediately before or after a rainfall or sprinkler irrigation or when the plant is under stress. Additional applications can be made prior to or following periods of stress. Higher dilution rates are recommended for optimum coverage. For new, less dense foliage use 5 Gal. water / acre. For mature foliage use 10 Gal. water / acre.

To optimize performance apply in late evening or early morning when humidity is high and leaf stomata are open. Stomata (openings or pores) are found mostly on the underside of the plant leaf - Nozzles should be rotated to the back so the flow of material approaches the plant at a 90 degree angle to catch the underside of the plant leaf. Use nozzles that produce a fine mist. Performance may be reduced under drought conditions when plants are under heat stress.

Grass responds vigorously to foliar applied organic pasture fertilizer and a well planned fertilization program can double production. Foliar applications should be carried our in early spring when plants are 3 to 4 inches in height. Repeat after each cutting or grazing or as required. 

A single application of EC-PSG organic pasture fertilizer, applied in early spring, will accelerate growth and enable early grazing. Generally, there is no requirement to fertilize native pastures. In cases where native pastures require fertilization, one application per season is sufficient. In certain cases, applying pasture nutrients alone can reduce or eliminate the need for herbicide and pesticide applications. 

NOTE:
Overgrazed pastures have undersized plants with under developed root systems and, as a result, they cannot uptake available soil nutrients. Nutrient deficiency can limit the growth of most pastures.  Pastures that lack nutrients are constantly under stress, slow growing, unproductive, slow to recover from grazing, and produce poor quality feed for grazing animals. Nutrient applications optimize plant growth, increase yields and optimize distribution over the grazing season, even in areas that experience dry periods.
